From the exhilarating races to the heartwarming support from fellow students, parents, and staff, the atmosphere was electric with positivity and encouragement. It was moments like these that truly embody the spirit of unity and friendship within our #ISPSchools.

As we look back on the memories made today, let’s cherish the bonds forged, the lessons learned, and the joy shared.

Each team prepared their arguments, highlighting the positive and negative aspects of social media usage. The debate competition on social media provided an engaging platform for the students to express their opinions and understand different perspectives on the topic. It encouraged critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills among the participants. Congratulations Grade 7S for their impressive performance!

We took the opportunity to honor the accomplishments of our students who graduated the EAL class for their remarkable growth, both linguistically and personally. Finally, a huge shoutout to our IB students for embodying the values of the IB Learner Profile in everything they do. From being principled and reflective to demonstrating open-mindedness and caring, your dedication to these attributes is truly inspiring!

It was the sharing from the beloved grandparents of Mila – our Intro student, during a recent visit to our campus and we were thrilled to hear that they had such a positive and satisfying experience during their visit!

Coming a long way from South Africa, Mila’s grandparents could not hide their feelings of happiness and pride when they had a chance to see the school where their grandchild study every day.

They were thrilled to witness firsthand the state-of-the-art facilities and expansive green spaces that they had never experienced before in South Africa. Warmly welcomed by the teachers and school staff, they left with hopes for Mila to thrive and create cherished memories at Westlink.

Congratulations to our Westlink Wolverines for this incredible triumph! This could not have been possible without the huge effort and time put in by our coaches, a special thanks to Mr.Arron and Ms Ana. Let’s continue to support and celebrate their journey as they strive for even greater heights in the world of football!

Our students followed and listened to a detailed tour that introduced this historical gem all the way back to its first establishment from the Ly Dynasty in the 11th century. Walking through the ancient walls and gates of Kinh Thien Palace and Doan Mon Gate within the citadel’s grounds, they couldn’t help but were in awe of how such complex architectural marvels could withstand so many invasions, conflicts and wars. The most anticipated part must be a chance to visit the underground tunnels that hosted so many important meetings and acted as hiding spots during the Vietnam War.

By embracing the history of our host country – Vietnam and other nations, Westlink International School demonstrates our dedication to fostering a sense of belonging and cultural appreciation among our students. We believe that by honoring and respecting the heritage of Vietnam, we create a learning environment that celebrates diversity, promotes cross-cultural understanding, and nurtures responsible and caring global citizens.

The highlight of the field trip was the outdoor display of 10 traditional houses, each showcasing the distinct architecture, interior design, and living style of a different ethnic group. Students can explore the interior, and learn about the cultural practices, beliefs, and customs of each group. Additionally, there are other exhibits such as a water puppet theater, a stone path,etc which provides insight into the daily life and social organization of the people.

Such a great day filled with discovery, learning, and newfound appreciation for cultural diversity!
